Pikapet Cat Sitting – Terms & Conditions (Simple Version)

1. What’s Included in Our Service
Each visit includes:

  • Feeding as instructed

  • Litter box cleaning

  • Fresh water refill

  • Basic home check (doors, windows, food/water bowls)

  • Photo update after each visit

  • Non-injectable medication feeding (must be disclosed in advance)

Extra tasks such as watering plants or bringing packages inside may require additional fees.

2. Pricing

  • Standard Visit (15–20 minutes): AUD $25 per visit

  • Additional cats: +$10 per cat

  • Medication feeding (non-injectable): +$10 per visit

  • Public holiday rates may differ.

3. Payment
Full payment is required before the service begins to confirm your booking.
We accept card payment, bank transfer.

4. Rescheduling, Cancellation & Refund Policy
To keep our schedule organised and fair for all clients, we follow the rules below:

If the client cancels before the service begins:

  • More than 3 days in advance: Full refund for the unused service.

  • Less than 3 days in advance (service not yet started): A $10 cancellation fee applies; the rest is refunded.

If the service has already started:

  • If you wish to end the service early, you must give 3 days’ notice. All remaining unused visits will be refunded.

  • If no 3-day notice is given , A $10 cancellation fee applies; the rest is refunded.

5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:

  • Provide accurate feeding instructions, behavioural notes, and home access details

  • Ensure the home is safe and accessible for each visit

  • Disclose any medical conditions or behavioural issues

  • Provide an emergency contact

Pikapet is not responsible for issues caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

6. Behaviour & Safety
If a cat shows severe aggression or poses a safety risk—and this was not disclosed in advance—we will immediately stop the service.
Any completed visits will be charged normally, and the remaining unused visits will be refunded.

7. Health & Emergency Care
If your cat appears unwell or injured:

  1. We will contact you immediately

  2. If unreachable, we will contact your emergency contact

  3. If necessary, we will take your cat to a vet (preferably the one you nominate)

All veterinary fees and transport costs are the client’s responsibility.

8. Liability
We always provide care with diligence and professionalism, but we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing health issues or sudden medical conditions

  • Damage caused by household issues unrelated to our visit (e.g., appliance failure, leaks)

  • Events outside our control (natural disasters, break-ins, etc.)

Photo updates will serve as proof of each completed visit.

9. Privacy
All keys, access codes, addresses, and personal information are kept strictly confidential and used only for service delivery.

10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking Pikapet cat sitting services, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
